Fault, Fault Tolerance, Fault Injection Method

Fault - An incorrect step, process, or data definition in a program is called a fault.

Fault Tolerance - The capability of the software product to maintain a specified level of performance in cases of software faults (defects) or of infringement of its specified interface.

Fault Injection - The process of intentionally incorporating errors in code in order to measure the ability of the tester or processes to detect such errors is called fault Injection.
